In reply to your question, I'd like to mention that it is a 618T - not a 
T-618.

Other than that, I do not see why it would not be useable on the ham 
bands. I have a 618T also and am planning on using mine for Ham work, 
when I get my license.

I do believe you'll not have any problems. I have a friend that is a ham 
and he is working on putting his 618T to use on the ham bands too.

So, as I see it, go right ahead.
