{Collins} KWM-2(A) on CW

FYI,

I just saw in the ARRL email news that the January QST
issue, in the mail now, has the following reprinted
article:

Our annual vintage issue features an article by
Richard Bitzer, WB2ZKW, "Modifying the Collins KWM-2
for Serious CW Operation." This sideband radio,
originally marketed as a mobile transceiver, had
serious CW limitations. The author transformed the
KWM-2 into a radio that does well on CW while
maintaining its original SSB capabilities.

Now the price of old junky Collins KWM-2s will go sky
high.

73 es GLITC,
Bill
