{Collins} Re: 51J-3 Escutcheon



I have also repaired a number of KWM-2/2A escutcheons as well as 
those on S-lines. I have used super glue to
bond the pieces and then used two part epoxy to use as a filler and 
wet sanded to finish off. You
then will have to paint it.  I have used a paint I get at an auto 
parts store which is an almost exact match
for the color used by Collins once they started to paint the 
escutcheons.  On the one you have it was not
painted, but you will have to paint it if you elect to repair it for 
it to look right.

The paint I have used is Plasti-Kote # 637.
