I bought mine at a ham fest, had someone help me put it on the front seat of my pickup, but the seat belt around it  drive home.  A 60 mile trip.  No problems.

Subject: {Collins} Transporting 30S-1

What's the best way to transport a 30S-1 in the back of an SUV?  Do I have to remove the tube/transformer, etc.  Am I being too naive to think I can just create a lot of soft padding for it to rest on?
