Re: {Collins} Eimac 3-500Z tube value?

I bought one off ebay a few months ago. That is, a new, unopened eimac box with seal unbroken. The date code indicated it was an early 90's manufacturer so I took a chance at $180 including shipping. The tube was bad and not reconditionable. So, if you do the right thing, you will will sell it with a guarantee to the buyer offering to return his money if it is bad, and as Glenn says, it could very well be bad right out of the box. Unfortunately. Be a nice guy and return the money if it is bad. Van, K7VS

Gentlemen,
This may be slightly off topic, BUT could anyone give me a clue on the
value for a pair of 3-500Z tubes NOS in Eimac factory boxes, one of which is
still sealed with the company logo boxing tape? Anyone know how long it
has been since Eimac made these?
Thanks,
Mike, AC5P
