Re: {Collins} OT: Radio Mart

I have always been suspicious of the closed "private auctions". I wonder who is actually buying the stuff at "twice his cost". All seems rather fishy to me. I stopped using the auction house for anything but an item I am absolutely convinced can't be found elsewhere.

The first experience I had was was selling him a Yaesu 857D, being a nice guy I sent it to him before he made a payment to PayPal. It took 2 weeks and having eBay contact him before I received payment. Well the next items I placed on eBay he bid and won again. This time I did not send till I received payment. It was a week before he made payment, so I waited another week before sending.

His feedback is misleading because now he not only sells under radio-mart, but he is buying under that name which pushes his feedback statistics up. He use to only buy under gottahaveit1995, but when his feedback got too low under radio-mart he began buying under radio-mart in order to keep his feedback statistics up since as a buyer you will always get positives if you pay. He has burned far more people than his feedback would indicate, especially on Collins gear. Take a look at this link and it tells it all:
