Re: {Collins} [Bulk] Grey 14/3 Power cords for PM-2/516F-2?

If you have access to old computers or HP printers they are a good supply of
usually free gray cords 18/3, 16/3, and the HP lazerjet printer cords are
usually 14/3. They are mostly 5 to 8 ft.

Yep...you are.
The 14awg cords are just too big to fit into both units without making the
chassis hole larger.
The best cord I have found is at ACE Hardware part #31471.
This cord is 16awg, grey and molded and is good quality.
Those chassis holes are sized for 18awg cords.....but....ACE does not seem
to have 18awg cords available.
The 16awg cord will be a bit tight to install but it will go in with some
extra effort.

Has anybody come across a supplier of grey rubber 14/3 power or extension
cords like used on the PM-2 and presumably 516F-2 with a molded-on 117V
plug?  The only ones I'm finding larger than 16awg are flat appliance
cords.  The local hardware store does still stock 16/3 PVC jacketed
replacement cords in Grey, but would prefer to go 14/3 IF it can be found. I
can make out a BG-314 Belden number on the tag of my original cord, but come
up with nothing.   Looking in all the wrong places?
