{Collins} WG: KWM2, IF oscillations

Hi all and Dave especially,
in order to help relaxing without searching too long, hi: Change the
resistor R145 from 150K to 82K and remove C262. That's the whole story.
Regards,
Ulrich

Hi Ulrich,

For those of us, and me, who don't have access to the last version of the
manual, could you please scan the information and post it here?

Thanks,

Dave WA3HSC

Hi to the list,

everybody who experienced oscillations in the IF stages when using the
Philips 6AZ8 should use change 20 as described in the last revision of the
manual. It decreases the IF gain a little but prevents the oscillations. I
found that after going through every change included in the last rev. manual
and this obviously has been made for that a.m. reason. It even reduced
significantly the audio distortions I observed.

Thanks to everybody who answered me concerning that problem.
Regards,

Ulrich / DK7BC
