Re: {Collins} 75A4 S meter issue

Something has gone amiss in the AVC detector and processing area of the
circuit. You are going to have to start tracing.

The fact that the RF gain control works and does its thing in standby and is
reflected in the meter says the fundamental metering circuit and voltages
are there. You are just not processing dynamic AVC.

Subject: {Collins} 75A4 S meter issue

Just got a 5xxx A4, S meter moves when RF gain is adjusted and goes full
scale when in standby but does not move with signals plus the AVC does not
sound any different when going from off, slow or fast. Radio sounds great
but any thoughts on these issues. Thanks.
