Glen,

How are you getting the wrinkle finish?

St. James Gray is basically black with a little gold included.  The formula
for St. James Gray is listed here

http://k9sth.com/uploads/Boat_Anchor_Paints.pdf

This is the formula that I had computer matched by Sherwin-Williams and is
"spot on".  Now this matches the original color of the cabinets and NOT the
color after 40, 50, or more years of fading.  I use and area of the cabinet
where the paint is not exposed to light, etc., (like where the cabinet comes
in contact with the chassis, an "overlap", etc.) as the area to be matched.
Using a sample that has been protected results in duplicating the original
color.  At least to me, the color used in a restoration should be what was
there originally and NOT what the color has faded to over the years.

Of course, some people want the color to be the faded color but not to have
scratches, etc.  That is the owner's option.

I thought that the "black" _was_ St James Gray.
