Re: {Collins} KWM-2A cooling



Here is how I cool my KWM-2. The fan is a 12v unit from a computer power supply. The circuit board is a voltage doubler that is fed from the 6.3 vac from the 6.3vac phono socket on the rear of the KWM-2.

The fan slips in  between the final cage and the exciter tuning mechanism. No modification to the rig.
