Hi Grant,

One trick I used when needing the same thing was to solder a thin washer on
a 6-32 brass stud, slip it into the trim channel and add a nut and washer
inside to secure the trim.

It would be nice to find the spring clip however if you don't some version
of what I did may be a way out.
