The problem with using the adapters, as tempting as they are to use, the extra length and mass of the 259 connector is hard on the female RCA jack connection, especially if you move radios about and change them frequently as I do
Just my humble experience and 2C worth.  YMMV

You can buy an Adaptor from RCA male to SO239.
Even the Radio Shack has them.
I use on my 32S3 and the input of my 30L1.
