Not so fast.  Early 30S-1s have oils hole and bushings, later ones are
sealed BBs.

Not correct.

The 30S-1 has sealed bearings and does not need lubrication. I would not put
oil in there.

The 30L-1 motor is a much cheaper motor and does not have replaceable
bearings.
