I agree with Bill but with one caution. Shure did make some dual impedance
444 mics with a switch on the bottom. I don't mean to insult you but
thought you should know. They were produced during the Citizen's Band craze
in the 1970's US.

It is not normal Bent. There is a problem somewhere.
Mine hang out at about 10:00 to 10:30 normally with Collins mics.
This varies of course with microphone, but under normal circumstances, I
would think usually less than 12:00.
