Hi Richard:  I just removed the plate tuning knob off my kwm-2a.
If you look at the inside of the knob (where it pushes unto the shaft) just align the pointer to the pointed part of the opening.
If you like, I can email you a photo of what it should look like.

I suppose I can just reglue it and hope I get it pointed right !!
I'll tune up the radio, then I should get a fairly good idea of where
it should point.
