{Collins} Board Report to our CCA Members

> Hello to each CCA member. I trust you are all getting ready for a wonderful Thanksgiving celebration!
>
> Your Board just met for our first 3 day Collins Leadership Conference at the home
> of Wayne and Sharon Spring (W6IRD and K6IRD) in Orange, California. We approved Francisco Ledda as a newly elected member of the board to replace Retiring Dennis Kidder. We also appointed Wayne Spring to the board for a one year position as the bylaws permit. At our side was my Collins 150B that Mr. Collins made himself, and restored by Gary Halverson K6GLH, which appeared in the latest Signal. It was as close as we could get to having Mr. Collins with us. We were thankful to have recent past president Scott Kerr with us who has been a huge support to me in my duties as your President. We spent 2 days receiving reports from every aspect of our CCA leadership team and looking for ways to support each one better and serve our membership better. We presented our new acting Signal editor, Gary Halverson, to the board, who brings a lot of talent to the table!

> There will be a full report in the next Signal as well as a follow up meeting after the next Dayton Banquet for which you are all invited to attend. You will be seeing the fruit of this meeting in the next few months in the Signal and on our web site. We are also working on a new event to compliment our annual Dayton Banquet. Stay tuned for some exciting additions to your CCA experience.

> We deeply value each one of our members and want to do everything to serve each one of you in an effort to enrich your Collins experience.
>
> Yours for an exciting CCA future.
